Distinguishingly different than its Masala cousin, this has been known to make chai devotees rethink how they drink their chai! Also delicious as an iced tea!

Ingredients:

Rainforest Alliance Kenyan black tea

allspice · clove · fennel

cinnamon · licorice root

ginger · black pepper · rose petals

Steeping Recommendations:

1 tsp of tea · 1 cup water · 208-212°F

Steep: 3 mins (for a 2nd cup, resteep tea for 6 mins)

# of Steeps: 2

As always, remove from water to prevent further steeping.

For traditional chai, steep in milk or ½ milk ½ water

For iced tea:

2 heaping tsps · ½ cup water · 208-212°F

Steep: 3-5 mins

Add a minimum of 1 cup of ice cubes (some will melt)

Let cool for a minute then enjoy your iced tea!
