Chrysanthemums have been extensively used in Chinese herbal medicine. There are reports of this flower being mentioned in 'Divine Husbandman's Classic of the Materia Medica' in China during A.D.1.
Chinese herbalists have claimed that Chrysanthemums can:
be used by the respiratory system to clear fever and headaches associated with colds and flu
be used as a tonic for the eyes to sooth redness
ease tension and headaches.

Steep: 3 mins (mild), 5 mins (medium), 7+ mins (strong)
