The ultimate in warmth and relaxation, Cinnamon Bun Rooibos Chai is not only delicious, it’s packed with antioxidants, polyphenols and essential minerals. What’s more, it’s naturally caffeine-free. This makes it perfect for easing into a morning, wiling away an afternoon, or settling into your evening. Essentially, you can’t go wrong.
Ingredients:
Rooibos · Cinnamon · Ginger · Cardamom
Black + White pepper · Clove · Nutmeg · Star Anise.
Steeping Recommendations:
1 heaping tsp · 8oz water · 208-212°F
Steep: 3 mins (mild), 5 mins (medium), 7+ mins (strong)
As always, remove from water to prevent further steeping.
For a pot:
18oz/2cups: 2 heaping tsp
36oz/4cups: 1 heaping tbsp
48oz/6cups: 2 heaping tbsp
208-212°F

For traditionally(ish) steeped chai:
Add 1 cup of milk per serving into a saucepan.
Bring to a simmer, do not boil!
Add 1 ½ tsp (5g) of chai tea to milk, cover & simmer on low heat for 3-5 mins.
Strain and enjoy!
For a lighter chai, cut milk with water or a plant based milk
