A delicate medley of fresh grassy notes with a light sweetish finish. Designed to steep in cold or hot water. These dried leaves are exceptionally light, contain Vitamin C & can be brewed between 3 and 5 times!
Steeping Recommendations:
1 heaping tsp of tea · 1 cup water · 175-185°F
Steep: 2 mins, add 30sec- 1 minute for each additional steep
# of Steeps: up to 5
As always, remove from water to prevent further steeping.
For Iced Tea:
One cup:
2 heaping tsps · ½ cup water · 176°F
Steep: 3-5 mins
Add a minimum of 1 cup of ice cubes (some will melt)
Let cool for a minute then enjoy your iced tea!
1 liter/quart:
6 heaping tsps · 1 1/4 cups water · 176°F
Steep: 5 minutes
Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water.
Garnish and sweeten to taste.
[A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.]
