Coconut meat that has been dried and processed into a powder. Can substitute for cane sugar in baking. It is water soluble and easily dissolves into simple syrups and creams and into butter & eggs. It has comparable carbohydrates and calories to typical cane sugar, but is much lower on the Glycemic Index.
